The majority of the software used for crystallography at DND-CAT is installed
on banana1
under /usr/xtal. This directory can be nfs mounted from any of the Linux
or SGI workstations at DND. Executables are available for both Linux (when
available) and IRIX. By typing
source /usr/xtal/DND_xtal_env.csh
(user shell must be either csh or tcsh) the setup
files for all the currently available software are run and the executables for
the correct operating system (Linux or IRIX) are located.
This is done automatically
on banana1when logging in as maruser.
