Thermal and Calorimetry Studies

DND-CAT has two Linkam temperature control systems. Both are capable of 130°C/min heating and cooling between -196°C and 600°C with < 0.1°C stability. Both stages also have a gas tight chamber for atmospheric control.
The THMS600 has been adapted for samples in 1 – 2 mm capillaries and is useful for studying temperature dependent structural changes. The DSC600 uses 6 mm DSC pans and is useful for heat flow experiments.
