Simultaneous SAXS/WAXS

The Roper Scientific SAXS/WAXS system (see Figure 7) is capable of continuous data collection at 0.56 frames per second (FPS) in full frame mode (1.8 s dead-time). With 4 × 4 binning, the speed goes to 3.8 FPS (0.26 s dead-time).
Two nose cones are available for the WAXS detector. The first (sample to detector = 136 mm) provides a WAXS 2θ range of 46° to 6.0° while allowing SAXS data under 2.08° to pass through. The second (236mm) provides a 31° to 3.5°range on the WAXS detector and under 1.43° on the SAXS detector.
